Indo-Pacific Review’s inaugural issue centres around the theme “Framing the Indo-Pacific.” When Asia-Pacific became Indo-Pacific not long ago, it almost immediately attracted a great deal of geo-political and intellectual attention around the world. It indeed is one of the most discussed and debated geopolitical concepts of our times even though there appears a certain lack of clarity surrounding it. As the theme of this inaugural issue indicates, the objective of this issue is to understand the region from a variety of perspectives including but not limited to geopolitics, geography, balance of power, climate change, economy, and development.
