Ms Purvaja Modak

Purvaja Modak is a Non-Residency Senior Research Fellow at the Global Economic Governance Initiative, Global Development Policy Centre at Boston University. She was previously a Research Fellow (International Relations – Geoeconomics) at the Centre for Public Policy Research, Kochi, where she authored research articles, issue briefs and research papers on issues of international financial architecture, global economy, global trading system, business diplomacy, and international monetary system. She holds an MA in Economics, from the University of Mumbai, and has served as a Researcher in Geoeconomics Studies at Gateway House, Mumbai, and been a Research Associate at the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy, University of Mumbai. She has presented research inputs and briefs for the Ministry of Finance, India, United Nations Development Programme, Ministry of External Affairs, India, and the Ministry of Finance, Japan.
