Dr Shofwan Choiruzzad

Shofwan al Banna Choiruzzad is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, and is the Executive Secretary of its ASEAN Study Centre. He is also the Editor in Chief of the Global: Jurnal Politik Internasional, and the co-founder and host of the Bebas Aktif Podcast. He holds a PhD from the Graduate School of International Relations, Ritsumeikan University, and has been the recipient of multiple awards and grants including the Global Challenge Research Fund, PDUPT Grant from the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, and the British Academy Grant for International Partnership and Mobility. He was also an ASEAN Canada Junior Fellow in 2014/15.
