Dr Sriparna Pathak

Sriparna Pathak is the Director of the Centre for Northeast Asian Studies, Jindal School of International Affairs, Sonipat, and an Associate Professor. She has also served as the School’s Assistant Academic Dean. She was formerly a Visiting Fellow at Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement, Kathmandu, and a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Southeast Asian Studies, Gauhati University. She has been the recipient of a scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and the China Scholarship Council to study and undertake research in China. She has also served as a Consultant at the Policy Planning and Research Division, Ministry of External Affairs, India, and as a Fellow at the South Asia Democratic Forum, Belgium. She holds a PhD in Chinese Studies from the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and has numerous publications in multiple books and journals, focusing on subjects including Sino-Indian relations, and Chinese economy and foreign policy.
